LOVE November of dressing nicely…
Do it, men of Chicago!

Wingman Chicago: The November of Dressing Nicely is back.

No hoodies and “it’s Friday, I’m hungover” outfits. And I wasn’t the only one. A large collective of gents joined up. I posted pics everyday in a gallery for the work blog and this year we’ll be doing the same. I’ve heard from some interested parties, but I’d like to use this opportunity to call out the rest of you.

this place is always so packed… maybe now i can grab some pork-to-go!

Lillie’s Q Meat Mobile
If lunchtime comes around and you’re craving some barbequed meat, you’re in luck: starting Tuesday, for about three weeks, the new Lillie’s Q Meat Mobile will start the day at 11 a.m. at 28 N. Franklin, in the Ampco System Parking lot. Track its progress via Twitter.
Come with dollars: serving pulled-pork and pulled-chicken sandwiches ($10 each), the truck is cash only.

Ald. Proco “Joe” Moreno (1st)writes on the Huffington Post about his support of Occupy Chicago :
I write this blog supporting the movement with some trepidation because I’ve always been fairly adverse to politicians showing support for protests. The cynic in me typically assumes politicians come out in support of protests for political expediency and/or media attention. But now I am a politician and I’d be at fault if I didn’t use my influence to support a movement that I find so commendable.
Occupy Chicago’s mission statement is that they’re “here to fight corporate abuse of American democracy in solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world.”
How can anyone possibly disagree with that?
